ALLAMUCHY -- Village Family Chiropractic announces the addition of Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA) to its growing roster of medical treatments. Dr. James R. Fedich has recently been certified in Manipulation under Anesthesia, which gives patient another treatment option for difficult and chronic conditions, by Southern California University of Health Sciences.

MUA has been practiced since the 1930's and has been used for many years. Recently the use of the procedure has increased greatly thanks to the tremendous advances in the technique and anesthesia. MUA can be an effective procedure for people with chronic neck pain, back pain, or other spine pain caused by disabilities or accidents, or any injury that has not responded to conventional treatments.

"This procedure gives our patients another option, for patients who have tried multiple treatments unsuccessfully, this gives them another step before trying invasive surgery," stated Dr. Fedich.

Dr. Fedich has been practicing in Panther Valley for five years, but he recently added MUA procedure to his practice to help with more difficult cases. His certification was completed through extra study and proctorship for the procedure at Southern California University of Health Sciences.
