A San Antonio chiropractor is offering a new alternative approach to treating allergies. He doesn’t use shots or pills. He uses a laser.

Chiropractor Andrew Moore is trying a new technique to help get rid of allergies.

It’s called “immune conditioning” and it starts with a computer screening.

Electrodes on the middle finger use RF frequencies of different allergens, from food to pollens to pet dander, to measure the response by the body.

”When the body elicits a response to that particular frequency, then you’re allergic to that particular item,” Moore said.

Part two of the treatment is a combination of Eastern and Western medical concepts, using a laser applied to acupuncture points.

The idea is that the laser stimulates points on the body that correspond with major organ systems. The device is putting out the same digital signal as the substance causing the allergy. The theory is next time, the body will not perceive the allergen as harmful and trigger an unwanted immune reponse.
