September 12, 2008 —Midwest Software, developer of Chiro QuickCharts has donated 10 soap notes software packages for implementation in Palmer College’s business development center.

During Palmer’s homecoming event this year, Midwest Software learned about the Palmer Center for Business Development. The center provides students with self discovery, business skills, career development, and destination success.

Current students as well as new graduates can learn specialized skills in such areas as finance, technology, law, and insurance through the business center. Ten experiential modules are taught by experts in their fields while participants gain knowledge they need to tackle some of the major hurdles faced by entrepreneurs as they open, operate, and grow their businesses. Students learn through small group activities and interaction, and often are provided with useful, take-home handouts. Most modules are team taught by, for example, a finance expert along with an experienced chiropractor who can provide real world examples of how the information is put to use in a chiropractic practice.
