Guy Lalonde has decided to improve his lifestyle and overall health. Like many people, Guy has found it difficult to do it alone. “I’ve been on a yo-yo all my life.” However, for the next few months, Guy will be aided by three local fitness experts in order to help his transition from “fat man” to “healthy man.”

“I’m not looking to change my life, I’m looking to safe my life,” said Guy. In comes Tyler Touchette of Caveman Strong Inc. (Cornwall Crossfit), Thorin Gault of Gault Family Chiropractic and Scott Dunne of Upper Canada Physiotherapy to help Guy with his goal.

About one month ago, Touchette, Gault and Dunne accepted to take time out of their busy schedule to work with Guy. On a monthly basis, the trio will give their assessment of Guy and report on his progress.

“Guy came to me and asked if I could help him with his current state or lack thereof of health and vitality. In one short month Guy is much stronger. He is moving much better and for the first time in a long time is moving without pain,” said Touchette.

“I was diagnosis with Patellar Tracking Disorder and Osteoarthritis in my left knee. What my program has been able to do is strengthen the muscle in the leg that help prevent the knee cap from moving around and the exercise that keeps my knee in motion helps to keep the knee flexible,” said Guy.

“After an initial assessment, Guy began a program of Network Spinal Analysis - a gentle (no manipulation), evidence-based and leading edge system of chiropractic – and instruction in exercises designed to increase body awareness and reduce tension,” said Gault.
