back pain, pulled muscles, hip pain, core strength, and injury
prevention, Dr. Todd P. Sullivan of NOVA Chiropractic & Wellness
Center discusses running injuries and how to prevent injuries from
developing.
Dr. Sullivan held a seminar on various running injuries and injury
prevention December 5th, 2009. The seminar was held at 12:00 pm at the
Washington Sports Club in Springfield, VA. "Our office specializes in
treating runners, triathletes, sports injuries, and now is the time
that athletes should focus on the injuries that plagued them all season
long and learn how to prevent injuries for their upcoming season" says
Dr. Sullivan.
We utilize a multi-disciplinary approach combining chiropractic, Active
Release Techniques, and Graston technique to treat soft tissue injuries
such as plantar fasciitis, hamstring pain, calf pain, hip pain, and
lower back pain. Active Release Techniques and Graston Technique are
two muscle techniques design to relieve chronic pain syndromes. These
advanced techniques help speed up the healing process and also allow
the doctor to treat injuries to muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves.
