ACOM Health Releases Upgraded RAPID Documentation Software for Chiropractic

ATLANTA, Georgia, November 12, 2009 -- ACOM Health has introduced Version 5.4 of its RAPID Chiropractic Documentation software with:
- Enhanced user experience
- Integration with the new RAPID Patient Education and RAPID Home Exercise modules
- Expanded medical necessity documentation support
"New features and enhancements make doctors’ work easier and more precise, help them to serve patients faster and better and at the same time, create opportunities for more billable services," General Manager Mark Firmin said. "Proof of medical necessity is critical to everything doctors do today, so we evaluate every improvement to RAPID Documentation software against that standard."
The Patient Education module allows doctors to engage their patients with In-Clinic 3D imagery. The Home Exercise module consists of more than 300 online rehab videos with step by step instructions. Through the modules, patients are motivated to continue their full courses of treatment as well as conscientiously perform their home exercises.
Two other major new strengths include the ability to import goals from the Rand 36 Findings covering eight health and disability sectors and an intelligent Strict Accountability feature that halts exam report production unless certain required information is present.
